Essential Oils in the Bedroom

Guess what?! You can use essential oils in the bedroom all three ways, aromatically, topically and internally, if you want! If you’re using essential oils on more sensitive areas, you’ll want to make sure you dilute the oils a little bit more than you normally would.

Essential oils can increase sensuality and passion, increase libido and relieve emotional exhaustion and make a great addition to some bedroom fun with your partner!

Oil recommendations:

  • Low libido for men: Ylang Ylang, Patchouli, Passion, Cinnamon, Neroli

  • Low libido for women: Ylang Ylang, Whisper, Jasmine, Passion, Neroli

  • Low sex drive: Passion, Jasmine, Cinnamon, Ylang Ylang, Whisper

Libido

  • Passion: feeling sexy

  • Ylang Ylang: aphrodisiac, hormone balancer

  • Clary Sage: arousing, hormone balancing

  • Hawaiian Sandalwood: boost male libido

  • Male libido boosting blend – 2-3 drops each: Clary Sage & Ylang Ylang; internally veggie cap twice a day

  • Female libido boosting blend – 3-4 drops each: Clary Sage, Whisper, Ylang Ylang; apply to bottoms of feet and wrists 2x/day

Get in the mood

Sensual sheet spray

16 oz glass spray bottle or doterra’s ultra fine continuous mist spray, can adjust the essential oil drops, add in about 1tbsp witch hazel

  • 15 drops Bergamot

  • 15 Hawaiian Sandalwood

  • 6 Lavender

  • 6 Wild Orange

  • 4 Ylang Ylang

Aphrodisiac In the Mood Diffuser Blend

  • 1 drop Siberian Fir

  • 1 drop Cinnamon

  • 1 drop Patchouli

  • 1 drop Rosemary

  • 1 drop Sandalwood

  • 1 drop Ylang Ylang

Sensual massage blend

  • 2 Ylang Ylang

  • 1 Black Pepper

  • 1 Ginger

  • 1 Wild Orange

  • 1 oz dropper bottle, 2 tbsp FCO

  • Make this up ahead of time in a dropper bottle so you have whenever the mood hits!

  • I like repurposing empty 15mL bottle and adding a dropper top!

In the moment

Ecstasy Extender

  • 2 Geranium

  • 2 Cinnamon Bark

  • 2 Ginger

  • 2 Lemongrass

  • 2 Peppermint

  • Combine in 2oz dropper bottle, top off with FCO

  • Make this up ahead of time in a dropper bottle so you have it ready to go in the moment!

Natural lubricant

  • Beautiful body mist

  • YP Serum, can add a drop of Geranium or Bergamot
